Every product we sell carries the warranty terms below. This page explains exactly what's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim if something goes wrong.
1. Drone warranty
All drones carry the manufacturer's standard 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This does not cover crash damage, water damage, unauthorised modifications, or damage from misuse.
2. Camping trailer and caravan warranty
Camping trailers and caravans carry a 3- to 5-year structural warranty on the chassis and suspension (the exact term is stated on the individual product page), and a 2-year warranty on electrical components and fittings.
3. Drone parts, accessories and tents
Drone parts, batteries, accessories and tents carry the warranty period stated on their individual product page — typically 3 months to 2 years depending on the item. Check the "Warranty" line in the product's specification table for the exact term.
4. What the warranty covers
Manufacturing defects, premature component failure under normal use, and workmanship faults. We will repair, replace, or refund a defective item at our discretion, in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), 68 of 2008.
5. What the warranty does not cover
Damage from accidents, crashes, water ingress, incorrect use, unauthorised repairs or modifications, normal wear and tear (e.g. propellers, tyres, batteries beyond their rated cycle life), and cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function.
6. How to make a warranty claim
Email sales@africandronesolution.co.za with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or video if possible. We'll assess the claim and confirm next steps — repair, replacement or refund — usually within 5 business days of receiving the required information.
